Don Hammontree’s paintings are informed by a keen eye for architecture and space, and a singular sense of time and geography. They serve as documents of places and states of mind that are real and imagined, places visited or places seen on Google Maps. They are populated by his unique character and often feature vintage American cars of the 60’s and 70’s. His paintings have been exhibited widely in New England. A presence on the Boston music scene, his band, Bad Fogelberg, recently released their debut CD. A complete inventory of artworks available can be seen at Clyde Hogan's Artsy Page.
